On 23 July 2012, after four years of investigation the National Human Rights Commission, Komnas HAM, has published its report with regard to the "events of 1965". Kompas reports. The public summary of the report is available in Bahasa Indonesia

The full 900-pages report is secret and only available to the Attorney General's Office. The AGO states that the investigation is not sufficient and has sent it back to the Komnas HAM.
